Yesterday we had arranged with reception to join other occupants of the timeshares at 11:00 this morning for a tea and breakfast event that the report runs three days a week. We figured we were going to spend the day relaxing in and around the resort so we could afford to sleep in. Once again though we were cursed by our early bedtime and woke up at 7:30 even though we had no alarm set. We spent the morning writing posts and very slowly getting ready to leave the house for our breakfast, noting that we had picked a good day to plan on doing nothing because it was poring with rain. At about 10:00 two of the women from reception stopped by the house and informed us that because of lack of interest and because of the weather that the breakfast was cancelled. They even gave us a bottle of white J.C. Le Roux as an apology!
Now we really had nothing to do today! So after a bit more time at the house writing posts and playing on the Internet we drive into town to pick up some more supplies for lunch and food for the coming days. We picked up a portion of boerwors which we cooked on the braai once we returned home for a late lunch / early dinner. The rain stopped just long enough for us to cook and then picked up for the rest of the afternoon. I'm afraid the rest of the day was so mundane that it hardly warrants mention. We watched a few films (probably 5 in total) and went to bed around 19:00 in preparation for a very early visit to Kruger National Park tomorrow.
